HOW TO REOPEN
We’re here to help.
Is your school district preparing to reopen? Will you be keeping your classes and activities small or do you have to function at a higher risk level? Have you outlined a plan to safely reopen or are you struggling to wrap your head around this new normal? The following questions are designed to assist you as you get started on this important process.
How can you prevent the spread of COVID-19 right at your entry point?
The CDC Considerations for Schools emphasizes staying home when appropriate. A big sign that a staff member or student shouldn’t enter your campus is if they have a fever. How will you perform a temp check on staff and students entering your campus without putting staff at risk? How will you do it efficiently to keep your entries from becoming bottlenecked? We recommend the iR37 Touchless Temp Kiosk.
Temperature reading in .4 seconds to an accuracy of +/-.54ºF
Automatically allow or deny entry based on temperature.
Use it to take attendance using facial recognition.
Play an audio message of your choice to remind your staff and students of other times to stay home such as having symptoms of COVID-19 or being around someone who tested positive.

What kind of disinfecting agents should you use?
It is so important to properly clean and disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of viruses and germs between students. There are many EPA List N products that do the job. However, children, in particular, have sensitive skin and immune systems. They need to be protected from chemicals that could cause harm during your efforts to protect them. Consider:
PurONE and PurTabs by Evaclean are powerful EPA List N products with no exposure concerns for your staff or your students.

What about shared supplies or communal spaces?
The CDC recommends avoiding the sharing of items and closing communal spaces, if possible. Is that possible at your school? In many cases, it will not be feasible. What can you do to avoid having these items and spaces turn into a hotbed for infection?
For small items from basketballs to colored pencils, consider the Protexus Electrostatic Gun. The gun creates static cling that wraps powerful disinfectant 360º around an object, sanitizing every surface in one pass.
What about communal spaces such as the cafeteria and gym? The Cart allows you to completely disinfect a large area in minutes. Use it in between groups of students so that your communal space can be utilized safely and efficiently.

Let’s work together.
There are so many other considerations that you’re facing. How often should I sanitize? How will I “promote behaviors that reduce the spread” as recommended by the CDC? What about proper ventilation and ways to keep the air from spreading viruses? We want to assist you in working through this process. Fill out the form below for a free consultation.
