Small Sprayer Evaclean.jpg

Protexus Electrostatic Gun

This cordless electrostatic sprayer brings 360-degree, touchless disinfection and sanitizing capabilities. The electrostatic charge of the Protexus Sprayer by Evaclean allows the droplets to attract to the surface rather than float in the air, as is typically associated with a mister or fogger. The electrostatic sprayer then can hit up to 3x the surfaces of a traditional method in a fraction of the time. Use it to quickly sanitize basketballs, toys, and other small items between student use. In combination with PURTABS, this sanitizing method cannot be beat for speed and effectiveness. Great for sanitizing small rooms, high touch points or shared items.

PurOne Solution.jpg

PurONE

EPA List N wipes are nearly impossible to get a hold of right now and most require protective equipment to use. We have put together a solution that allows you to provide the List N product your teachers and students can use safely throughout the day. Safe for them and safe for your surfaces.

PurONE is an EPA List N cleaner and disinfectant. These effervescent tabs dissolve in regular tap water to produce Sporicidal Grade Disinfection in a safe & effective formula for workers and surfaces. The difference between PurTabs and PurONE is the soap element. This allows PurONE to penetrate biofilm(when bacteria join together on a surface in clumps and form a protective coating around themselves that make them resistant to disinfectants). This means that it cannot be used in an electrostatic or atomizing sprayer but it is great to use in a spray bottle.

EVACLEAN FAQ

Does it kill COVID 19?  Yes, PurTabs and PURONE are on the EPA List N. There are two ways to handle COVID – 4306 ppm for 1 minute or 1076 ppm for 4 minutes.  Which option is better depends on how often you will be spraying.  For instance, you shouldn’t use 4306 ppm if you plan to spray every 2 hours.
Best practice is every 4-6 hours at 1076ppm with a 4 minute dwell time.

How is it dispensed? Is it safe for users to be around while dispensing?  Ideally, you should use PURONE in a spray bottle throughout the day, then spray PurTab thoroughly after closing.  If spraying every 2 hours, make sure staff and students are not in direct line of spray. All third party testing results verified that spraying PurTabs with the Protexus Electrostatic Sprayer fall below published accepted Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL) and Threshold Limit Value (TLV). They are safe to use with people in the vicinity.

Do you need to use PPE while dispensing?  No personal protective equipment is required while spraying properly diluted product. Gloves are needed while handling undiluted tablets.

Where can it be used?  Throughout your facility – floors, in restrooms, cafeterias (lower dilution on kitchen equipment), gyms, shared objects like sports equipment and pens, etc.

What is the dwell time?  This depends on what you are targeting and the concentration you are using. The minimum is 1 minute and maximum is 10 minutes. For schools, we recommend a dilution of 1076ppm for 4 minutes.

Do you wipe it off?  No. This saves on labor, assured dwell time requirements are met, and eliminates the possibility of cross-contamination from towels or rags. At a 4306 ppm concentration (4 minute C.diff claim), it may leave some residue, which would need to be wiped with water once dry.

Does it have to be dispensed via an electrostatic sprayer?  No. The electrostatic sprayer delivers a tremendous benefit by allowing the user to cover up to 3 times the surface area compared to traditional methods but is not mandatory.  Many facilities dissolve PurTabs in traditional 32 oz spray bottles.  Secondary labels are available.

What is the difference between cleaning and sanitizing?  Cleaning is the act of physically removing all dirt and contamination. The friction removes most germs and exposes any remaining germs to the effects of a sanitizer or disinfectant used later. Sanitizing reduces germs to levels considered safe by public health codes or regulations. Disinfection destroys or inactivates most germs, but not bacterial spores. In a gym setting, sanitizing is the recommended best practice.

Will it work on turf and carpet?  Yes, it will be effective but please note the EPA does not test on porous surfaces so there are no official kill claims.

What other markets have had success with PUR Tabs?  While the primary focus of EarthSafe is Heathcare (hospitals, assisted living, nursing homes) the EarthSafe system is used in a variety of settings – universities, K-12, daycare, building service contractors, quick service restaurants, hotels, transportation agencies, etc.

Is it safe for use on touchscreens/electronics?  Yes, it is regularly sprayed on keyboards, phones, headsets, computer mice, even airport kiosks, and surgical suites. You can safely spray treadmill displays as long as you do not oversaturate.  If you use the 4306ppm concentration, there may be some residual left behind, which can be wiped off after dwell time has been satisfied. The key is to focus on touchpoints.

Will it discolor fabric surfaces?  In general, no. Every fabric is different, however, so we recommend spraying an old piece first to check for colorfastness.  EarthSafe also recommends 1076 ppm for this application, not 4306 ppm.

How long is PurTabs stable once diluted? PurTabs are stable for 3 days once diluted and stored in a closed container. In an open container, the solution is stable for 24 hours.
