EVACLEAN LIST N SYSTEM
The EvaClean System is an incredibly safe end to end solution for infection prevention.
PurOne is the safe List N cleaner you need to get rid of grime and disinfect. Plus, it works in perfect harmony with PurTabs disinfecting and sanitizing tablets and won’t neutralize the disinfecting power like some cleaner and disinfectant combinations.
Protexus Electrostatic Handheld Sprayers or Backpack Sprayers used with Purtabs delivers 360º disinfecting coverage around an object by creating static cling.
Clean, sanitize, and disinfect. Quickly, easily, and thoroughly.
PurTabs
The science behind these tablets from Evaclean is incredible. PurTabs Disinfecting and Sanitizing Tablets dissolve in water to create up to 6 different solutions that range from killing C Diff in 4 minutes to NSF D2 registered food contact surface sanitizing. PurTabs can also kill algae, mold, and mildew in addition to taking care of those unpleasant odors in places like locker rooms, trash receptacles, and kitchen drains. What’s especially impressive to us is that the solution is also safe. These tablets dissolve into a powerful and safe disinfectant that will allow you to completely sanitize your entire facility in a very short period of time.
EPA List N Disinfectant
Biodegradable and non-toxic, with a neutral pH
Active ingredient: 48.21% Sodium Dichloro-S-Triazinetrione
3.3 g tablets: 200 tablets/tub ; 6 tubs/case
13.1 g tablets: 256 tablets/tub ; 2 tubs/case
Protexus Electrostatic Sprayers
This cordless electrostatic sprayer brings 360-degree, touchless disinfection and sanitizing capabilities. The electrostatic charge of the Protexus Sprayer by Evaclean allows the droplets to attract to the surface rather than float in the air, as is typically associated with a mister or fogger. The electrostatic sprayer then can hit up to 3x the surfaces of a traditional method in 80% less time.
Best practice is to keep a Protexus sprayer loaded with the PurTab solution for easy access throughout the day to use on your high touch-points. You’ll have 360º sanitizing that kills Influenza, RSV Covid-19, norovirus, C. diff, MRSA, and many other pathogens in 4 minutes or less. The backpack is best utilized for larger areas that need less frequent sanitizing such as seating, top to bottom fitness equipment sanitizing, etc. In combination with PurTabs, this sanitizing method cannot be beat for speed and effectiveness.
Need to sanitize large areas where 360º coverage isn’t necessary? We created The Cart for you.
PurOne
PurOne is an EPA List N cleaner and disinfectant. These effervescent tabs dissolve in regular tap water to produce Sporicidal Grade Disinfection in a safe & effective formula for staff and surfaces. The difference between PurTabs and PurOne is the soap element. This allows PurOne to penetrate biofilm (when bacteria join together on a surface in clumps and form a protective coating around themselves that make them resistant to disinfectants). This means that it cannot be used in an electrostatic or atomizing sprayer, but it is great to use in a spray bottle.
Sporicidal: Kills C.diff in 4 minutes
Dilution stable for 3 days in closed container
NaDCC tablet concentrate mixes with normal tap water to create HOCL
More accurate dilution than chemical dispensers
Broad-spectrum from food contact surface sanitizer to sporicidal
Neutral pH

Evaclean FAQ
What is the EvaClean Program?
The EvaClean Infection Prevention Program is a fully integrated program using a single chemistry solution throughout the whole cleaning process. By using one chemistry, NaDCC, throughout the cleaning process you eliminate confusion about what to use when. These tablets have one set of directions for both cleaning (PurOne) and disinfecting (PurTabs). By combining both the technology and chemistries into one complete solutions package, EvaClean allows workers and infection prevention experts to standardize their processes and eliminate many of the training and education challenges faced in programs that still use mops, buckets, wipes, rags, and spray bottles with a multitude of chemistries each with their own unique usage guidelines, dwell times, and safety procedures. The EvaClean Program optimizes workflow, simplifies training, and reduces costs, while delivering more predictable and repeatable results that greatly exceed those of current disinfection and sanitizing programs.
What is best practice?
Use PurOne in a spray bottle with disposable towel to remove visible grime throughout the day. Thoroughly apply PurTabs at 1076ppm dilution on every surface of your facility once a day using The Cart. Spray PurTabs at 1076ppm with an electrostatic sprayer in the middle of the day on your high touch surfaces like doorknobs, dumbbells, handles, etc.
Can any sanitizer or disinfectant be used with the sprayer?
Only PurTabs have been tested, verified, and measured to achieve repeatable
results, based on application and dwell times. EarthSafe makes no warranties
or representations regarding products that are not part of the EvaClean Program.
For non-infection control chemical applications, EarthSafe has other electrostatic
spraying solutions. PurOne is not to be used with the Protexus sprayers.
Does the sprayer have a safety certification?
All of our sprayers have ETL Certification which is the equivalent to UL and certifies that the products have met all the minimum safety standard requirements established by OSHA and carried out by Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories. The selection of either certification largely comes down to the ETL having a larger pool of testing facilities and the ability to process registrations faster than UL. Neither carries any benefit over the other.
Where can it be used?
Throughout your facility – on gym equipment, spin bikes, floors, restrooms, in locker rooms, in restaurants/cafes (lower dilution on kitchen equipment).
What is the dwell time?
This depends on what you are targeting and the concentration you are using. The minimum is 1 minute and maximum is 10 minutes. Dilution charts are provided with PurTabs and PurOne.
Do you wipe off any residue from PurTabs?
No. This saves on labor, assures dwell time requirements are met, and eliminates the possibility of cross-contamination from towels or rags. At a 4306 ppm concentration (4 minute C.diff claim), it may leave some residue, which would need to be wiped with water once dry. Very few facilities will ever need to apply PurTabs at 4306ppm. 1076ppm is very powerful and leaves no residue. PurOne is a cleaning agent and should be used with a spray bottle and rag.
Does it have to be dispensed via an electrostatic sprayer?
No. The electrostatic sprayer delivers a tremendous benefit by allowing the user to cover up to 3 times the surface area compared to traditional methods but is not mandatory. Many facilities dissolve PurTabs in traditional 32 oz spray bottles. Secondary labels are available.
What is the difference between cleaning and sanitizing?
Cleaning is the act of physically removing all dirt and contamination. The friction removes most germs and exposes any remaining germs to the effects of a sanitizer or disinfectant used later. Sanitizing reduces germs to levels considered safe by public health codes or regulations. Disinfection destroys or inactivates most germs, but not bacterial spores.
Will it work on upholstery and carpet?
Yes, it will be effective but please note the EPA does not test on porous surfaces so there are no official kill claims. Will it discolor fabric surfaces? In general, no. Every fabric is different, however, so we recommend spraying an old piece first to check for colorfastness. EarthSafe also recommends 1076 ppm for this application, not 4306 ppm.
Is it safe for use on electronics?
Yes, it is regularly sprayed on keyboards, phones, headsets, computer mice, even airport kiosks, and surgical suites. If you use the 4306ppm concentration, there may be some residue left behind, which can be wiped off after dwell time has been satisfied. The key is to focus on touchpoints. There are some scenarios where it should not be applied directly to sensitive electronics. Before applying to sensitive electronics, reference the equipment manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and disinfecting.
How long are PurTabs stable once diluted?
PurTabs are stable for 3 days once diluted and stored in a closed container. In an open container, the solution is stable for 24 hours.
